Charles Woolidge was born in Toronto and entered UTS in 1910. He enlisted in 1915, serving in the Alberta Dragoons, a unit in the Fort Garry Horse. Woolidge went overseas and was killed at Cambrai. He is buried in Tincourt New British Cemetery, near the Somme battlefield in France.
